Happy 87th birthday to the PRINCE of the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. HIS EMINENCE FRANCIS CARDINAL ARINZE.
Let me highlight you a little about him.
Cardinal Arinze at different moments served as head of two vatican offices between 1984 and 2008: President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue for 18yrs and Prefect of the Congregation for Divene Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments for six 6yrs. He made an official visits to 71 Countries of which 28 were in Africa, 20 in Asia, 16 in Europe, 6 in America and the rest in Oceania.
With different muslim organizations in the Middle East, Cardinal ARINZE established working agreements:
• Permanent Committee of Al-Azhar for Dialogue among the Monotheistic Religions.
• International Islamic Council (Saudi Arabia)
• Muslim World Council ( Saudi Arabia)
• Muslim World League ( Saudi Arabia)
• Organisation Islamique pour l'Education, les Sciences et la Culture ISESCO (Morocco).
• Interntional Islamic Forum for Dialogue (Saudi Arabia).
• Islamic Culture and Relations Organisation(Iran).
• World Islamic Call Society ( Libya).
• In 2002, the Cardinal our son and brother signed a "Declaration of intent" with the Pesidency of Religious Affairs-Prime Minister's Office of the Republic of Turkey."
