That's how it works. That driver is a clown, just catching fun with the story. Drivers can always go and drop forgotten items at uber office in case of stubborn rider like this

You are right, throwing it the hell away as I put is totally wrong but for me to bring it to him, he has to pay for the uber trip or I send it over to uber office. Either way money will be spent (transportation) to get the wallet back and it wouldnt come from me since he forget the wallet not me.

The driver should be careful when returning the wallet. Some of these guys set traps for drivers to steal their cars.

A simple issue of dropping the wallet at the nearest Uber office and informing the guy to go pick it up. Alas, Nigerians are perpetually dramatic and always arguing to be right instead of doing the right thing at any given time.

If a passenger truly wants an item he left behind in a cab, he will offer to pay for the ride, he won't insist the driver pays for it. After all, it's a favor unless the driver made him leave the wallet behind.

Its simple. Take it to Uber office and tell him to go pick it there.

According to this uber Driver, he shared his experience about one of his passenger who forgot his dirty wallet with #85 in it, praizenews report.

The passenger apparently ask the uber driver to bring it down to his place or else he will report the driver to uber company.

Were you there,or you mean the driver should go out of his own comfort to please somebody he had already ended a transaction with? Mind you the wallet is your personal possession and it's meant to be in your pocket so you forgetting it is your personal problem and you should be ready to go extra mile to get it and that is coughing out money
