Tracereporters.com –The Chairman Senate Committee on Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), Distinguished Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya fnia and Distinguished Senator Sahabi Ya’u Vice Chairman senate Committee on INEC with other members of the Senate committee embarked on oversight visit to Bayelsa state to access the level of preparedness by INEC in the forthcoming elections in the state.

The State Resident Electoral Cpommission Pastor Monday Udoh Tom conducts Committee members round the commission to check the sensitive and non sensitive materials like voting cubicles, voter vote authentication system(IVAS) ballot Boxes etc .

The election which billed to hold on 16th November 2019 has total forty five (45) out of which has 43 Male gubernatorial candidates and 3 female candidates and Nine hundred and ninety four thousand registered voters out of which eight hundred and ninety five collected permanent voter cards, so the committee is satisfied with the level of preparedness.
