To me I think this church of a thing should have been more like a school,where you go to learn about God(the word).Any other thing done there,i give no vote of confidence

Sometimes to avoid statements from neighbours like
"you no go church today".

Sometimes coz I do really need to hear za word of God.

Some other times because I feel guilty staying back home.

Other times because it's what is expected of a Christian to do on a Sunday, so I just go.

It depends on za mood

Colossians 2:16-23

Freedom From Human Rules

16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. 18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. 20 Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules: 21 “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? 22 These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. 23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

Don't worry about me I have been out of Nigeria for years ...am married with a kid and we got lovely jobs .....and I sponsor people in Nigeria.....i just come here cos I miss naija

Boss all I can give you right now is hope....go to your nearest Redeem church make sure you see the pastor or the closest person to him.....narrate your ordeal to them....make sure you continue as a member....also pick up the richest man In babylon and read it....don't just read but read to understand......also I don't know how close to ogba you are but I heard there's a redeem church there feeding people from Mondays to Friday from 12-2 on a first come first serve basis....the address is 26 shonola street aguda ogba Lagos....Bless
