Governors reply Miyetti Allah: You cant’s force us to donate land to herdsmen.

Governors from the South-West, South-South, South-East and the Middle Belt have vowed they will not donate lands in their regions for herdsmen settlements despite the latest threat by herdsmen under the aegis of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore.

The National President of the herdsmen group, Alhaji Abdullahi Bodejo, in a statement last weekend said governors who wanted peace in their states must establish herdsmen settlements.

“You are a governor and you want to enjoy peace in your state, you don’t need any long meeting, just create a particular area for the Fulani and equip them with modern facilities,” Bodejo said.

However, former President Olusegun Obasanjo in a swift reaction on Monday said it was a mistake on the part of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore to tie the existence of peace in the states of the federation to the establishment of settlements for herdsmen.

But governors from the four geopolitical zones of the country who spoke with Sunday PUNCH lambasted the herdsmen group and said no amount of threat would force them to donate lands for settlements in their regions.

The governors who spoke through statements by their media aides said neither Ruga nor any other forms of herdsmen settlement would be allowed in their domains despite the threat.

Fulanis will destroy this country with their own hands through their desire for expansionism just as Serbians destroyed Yugoslavia.
Today many Serbians bite their fingers and wish back the good old days of Yugoslavia as they watch Crotia & Slovenia become far more progressive than them.

If fulanis continue like this, a time will come when they will weep and wish for a one Nigeria with the crude oil of the Niger delta, the fertile lands of the middlebelt and the industriousness of the Igbos but they will not find it anymore. Rather they will be stuck with a desertifying core north filled with illiterate masses, Boko haram, Armed bandits and shia militias to contend with.

But seriously looking at it from an angle, isn't it better to provide lands for these people than having them graze anywhere they like and still kill people? Unless these governors want them out of their states completely, I think this RUGA is not bad...

I admire the way the fulanis are so bold to threaten all those who helped to enthrone them in the political atmosphere of Nigeria. Let's see those with balls and those without despite the fact that fulanis are a minority group. Shame!

When l look at the politicians from Southern part of Nigeria, l call them nothing but fools for keeping quiet while Fulanis who are less than 5 million from Futajalon full over more than 200m people

They sell cows from 150 to 300k let them buy land and grow pastures ..bush grazing is no longer feasible because of population growth and increasing agriculture. Does govt dash other farmers land? And these bastards destroy farms of those who paid for their own land.
