Nigerian Hon. Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and some lawmakers made a trip to Asian country, Japan last week.

The Nigerian lawmakers had the privilege to visit Japan’s House of Representatives where the Speaker of the Japanese lawmaking body, Mr Tadamori Oshima gave them a warm welcome to the delegation.

Ngg.ng reports that the delegation that went with the Speaker include Rep. Henry Okon Archibong, Rep. Mukhtar Muhammed Ahmed, Rep. Ja’afar Abubakar Magaji, Rep. Abass Adekunle Adigun and they were joined by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Japan, Ambassador Gana Yisa.

Gbajabiamila during the visit deliberated with the Japanese speaker, Mr Tadamori Oshima on the fight against insurgency in Nigeria and Inter-parliamentary issues as it relates to Nigeria and Japan.

He also met with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe with the two discussing ways of improving the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
