Chief Whip of the 9th Senate , Senator Orji Uzor Kalu appeared in a northern inspired outfit for today's plenary.

The former Governor was congratulated officially by the President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan over his victory at the appeal court last week Thursday.

The Abia North Senator who doubles as the "Dan Baiwan Hausa" of Northern Nigeria was hosted in the Senate President's office after the day's plenary.

Recall that the court of appeal led by Justice Stephen Adah had on Thursday affirmed Senator Kalu as the winner of the February 23, 2019 National Assembly election in Abia North Senatorial District.

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu was also joined by Senator Yahaya Abdullahi the majority Leader of the Senate.
