Help, I have used many recipes from the internet and whilst they taste lovely they are not large. I have nine guests coming for afternoon tea so I want to make large solid cake. I have used victoria sandwich receipes with generous ingrediants but they come out to slim. I watched a channel 4 documentary called the family last week featuring a Nigerian family and the lady made a huge cake for her husbands 60th birthday. I wish I knew how she made it as it was very big.
