If the government cannot provide basic amenities such as electricity and good roads, the government has failed.. Our collective national resources should be put into good use and not telling the citizens to source for electricity by themselves.. Yet the said citizens pay taxes. Nigeria needs to be fragmented into at least 8 countries. The so-called leaders don't have the administrative wherewithal to govern this huge population, especially with the largely illiterate north east and north west who have made it a religious duty to 'born' anyhow and then throw them to the streets to fend for themselves, while the politicians smack their lips in excitement as having seen easy voting population and louts and thugs to use for election or cause religious mayhem with.
