I thought so too until I read the whole thing. this lady died in February which means the family of the corp member that died in Kogi won't get anything until May or June 2020. This country is a joke.

Some people feels nothing about this just because the late corps member is not their tribal person or religion or their relative. Let me tell u, when people were massacred in 2015 (Rivers State) Presidential elections, some PDP people laughed. Others felt indifferent about it. This year, it is Kogi State suffering similar fate yet nothing is done. Some persons are also smiling while others are indifferent. Injustice and criminal behaviours will continue until we all rise to condemn it no matter who is the victim. It could be your brother or sister someday. Say no to election violence. Say no to injustuce. Say no to killings even if your enemy is the one involved!

I remember the good old days when a corper was a special citizen.
I will never forget one night I was coming back from a party and some policemen on patrol stopped me and started their harrasment. When I showed them my ID they changed tune. They even escorted me home and chastised me for not identifying as a corper when they first stopped me.
