I am listening to a radio programme and this issue has come-up. So what is the Nigerian factor?

Nigeria Factor = explanation for anything and everything negative.

Some people are upset that these negative attributes have been given a distinctively Nigerian tag. Is their anger legitimate?

Why should any Nigerian be angry when these vices are rife and very little is being done to check them. A good product will always sell itself, can we not say the same for negative perception? That it feeds on vices, if they are not there it will die naturally.

What is wrong is wrong. Attributing it to Nigerian factor is like giving a justification which is wrong.

Nigerian factor=usual excuse we give to justify our inability to achieve the results other countries would, under the same circumstances.
