The United Nations & United Kingdom have has broken in silence over the proposed death penalty clause by National Commission to checkmate Hate Speech.

Source from the United Nations has tagged the death penalty which was raised by Senator, Sabi Abdullahi as barbaric, and added that its inclusion in the bill was unacceptable.

The hate speech bill, states that any short of violation of the law shall be liable to life imprisonment and where the act causes any loss of life, the person shall be punished with death by hanging.
