CBN Governor is a confused and wicked human being. He brought back the N65 charge on withdrawal from other bank’s ATM and now this nonsense N50 on POS.

He ought to be fired.

Buhari can't get nothing right, just killed another industry in two months that took over 10 years to build ..If you know the work that got into getting people to adopt POS usage you will swear for Buhari ... well the more people that go to ATMs the better for me

This is discouraging those doing pos business.

Imagine trying to tell a customer that has already exceeded his 4times pos or ATM usage that a withdrawal of #5000 is 150 plus #65naira bank charge. That's #215 why not go to the bank at onces

I have stopped using Pos for almost a month. I now use cash, especially N1k notes whenever I make transaction in supermarkets, filling station and hotels.
The money saved is enough for me to load recharge card with USSD code on my phone.

You are correct... if i use pos, i make sure it is not up to 1k.. nonsense people. You want people to go cashless and you are bringing a policy to discourage it. Who do us this thing.

How do you encourage cashless policy then in one full swoop, all of a sudden, discourage it with this kind of policy? What kind of country is Nigeria?

That's why I like our people. No matter how u cage them, they will always find a way out.

Na because people are still using banks that is why they are charging pos fees, atm fees and online transfer fees very soon people will start holding just cash, if they vex people too much they will even abandon Naira and start using dollars or pounds or even CFA or Ghana cedis.

Crazy APC Government.

Now they want to shut down Uber in Abuja . They've shut down Keke in FCT with no alternative for the masses and they're now disturbing Uber drivers too.

When they claim they will create 100m jobs I wonder how

What shocked me is that don't these people have someone that can talk to them?

How I wish there Is world body that can invade country and kick the president out if the president is making lives unbearable for people.

Some places are now limiting POS use to transaction of ₦1000 and above.
It's mostly stores that sells fast moving consumables that still allows it for lesser transaction

it's not the CBN. It's a directive from president Buhari and his cohorts.

The way there are charging everything, I began to suspect Tinubu has hand it based on the way he rules Lagos and few months ago, someone nairaland buttress it unknowingly THAT Tinubu has hand in it.

I thanked him for revealing what I have always had in mind and he demanded for a reason but I didn't reply beyond that.
