There are so many great songs. But the only thing better than a great song is a great cover. This year we had plenty of both. Starting from special hip hop artists, to fuji, and country legends, to rockers giving sweet pop tracks,not excluding series of gospel music, to mention but a few.

Though there are some major contenders for the best cover songs but that of special hip-hop singer Yinka, was highly exceptional and beautiful.

Yinka added his own spin on Dotman early hit “Awe,” refashioning the song to give it an exquisite vibe that could act as a B side for Dotman’s album.

Yinka who was inspirited to cover the song, happened to be a longtime admirer of Dotman, saying , “Since the day I listened to this wonderful song, I fell in love. This song is an exquisite classic music. ”
