The United States Bullion Depository in Fort Knox, Kentucky, is a fortified building that stores 5,000 tons of gold bullion (precious metal) valued at some $137 billion dollars
and other precious items entrusted to the federal government.
Fort Knox is protected by a 22-ton door and layers of physical security:
alarms, video cameras, minefields, barbed razor wire, electric fences, armed guards, and unmarked Apache helicopters.
The vault door, which has a combination that must be entered by some 10 different staff members — none of which know anything but their part of the code, is the crown jewel of a nearly impregnable fortress.
And while this is a fantastic security measure, it’s not like anyone could ever get inside the building anyway,
what with the tanks, Apache helicopters, armed guards, fences, concrete-lined granite walls, video surveillance and alarms that all safeguard the facility.
It’s no wonder, then, that at the height of World War II, Fort Knox stored the Magna Carta, the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom, the gold reserves of several occupied European nations, the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. The Gettysburg Address and the Guttenberg Bible have both reportedly been protected inside Fort Knox as well.
Based on the level of security, Fort Knox is considered one of the safest places on earth.
As safe as Fort Knox is, there's another place that's safer, and it's filled with something more precious than gold.
1 Peter 1:3-5
[God] has begotten us . . . to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.
Who are kept and guarded by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Heaven holds our gift of eternal life and eternal salvation . The apostle Peter encouraged believers in Christ to praise God because we have "a living hope"-a confident expectation that grows and gains strength the more we learn about Jesus (1 Peter 1:3).
And our hope is based on the resurrected Christ. His gift of eternal life will never come to ruin as a result of hostile forces or our own errors and sins .
It will never lose its glory or freshness, because God has been keeping and will continue to keep it safe in heaven.
No matter what harm may come to us in our life on earth, God is guarding our souls. Our inheritance is safe.
Ephesians 1:13 and 14 speaks of us being sealed with the promised Holy Spirit UNTIL THE DAY OF THE REDEMPTION OF OUR BODIES and not safe until we sin.
Like a safe within a safe, our salvation is protected by God and we're secure.
Our born again spirit is hid inside Christ inside God. Nothing that happens to us in this life can reach it.
Jesus says that no man and that includes you can snatch you out of the Father's hand because the Father is stronger than all (the Father is not just stronger than all men and powers, he is stronger than even your sins and failures in this life). He is stronger than ALL.
How does it make you feel knowing that your salvation is kept safe with God?
An inheritance in heaven is the safest possible place. This is shouting territory guys

What a privilege to be saved through Christ Jesus. We are hidden inside Christ, Christ inside God. We are indeed the untouchable family in Christ Jesus. Praise be the name of the Lord.
