The Elegboro of Ijebu-jesa, HRM Oba (Engr.) Olufemi Agunsoye is excited that two of his subjects were amongst those given awards as part of events marking the one year in office of the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola, the state organised an award ceremony. The ceremony featured thirty-four awardees from across the state. Ijebu-jesa the capital of Oriade LGA was fortunate enough to have two of her sons on the list of awardees. Chief Rotimi Obeisun the Chairman of Timsed Group and Prince Adesola Adewumi the Project Coordinator Osun Rural Access and Mobility Project and Chairman of Logads paints industries and Alice and Dave Hotel in Ijebu-jesa.

Chief Rotimi Obeisun, The Asiwaju of Ijebu-jesa was awarded for his gestures to turn Ijebu-jesa and Osun state into an industrial hub. The illustrious son of the town has built a conglomerate in Ijebu-jesa that is fast putting Ijebu-jesa on a global map for the best reasons. His Hotel, Timsed International Hotel is one of the best hotels in Osun state with all facilities including a world-class cinema and managed by a highly-skilled staff of international level. His media company the Timsed Broadcasting Services the owners of Timsed Radio and Television and a soft-drink company that will in no distant time become a major threat to the management of major sfot-drinks brands in the country. He is currently working on establishing a multi-billion naira rice processing industry that will revolutionaries the fortune of the town and give employments to thousands of people in the town. A lot of people in Ijebu-jesa have said that the award given to the Asiwaju of Ijebu-jesa did not come as a surprise because of his contributions to the jump-starting the economy of that state.

The second awardee from the town is Prince Adesola Adewumi, a royal blue blood from the town, that is a part of Governor Gboyega Oyetola's transformational team. The Prince with the Midas touch that changes everything he touches to gold has revolutionalised Osun Rural Access and Mobility Project in the last one year that he has being on in charge as the Project Coordinator. This is the third award/commendation he will be bagging in the last three months. He had previously gotten two from the World Bank for the good works he is doing to give rural communities life through repairs of rural roads.

The Elegboro of Ijebu-jesa and the entire town is elated that the government recognised two of their leaders that are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that their micro-community (Ijebu-jesa) and their macro community (Osun State) is developed. The Elegboro of Ijebu-jesa while speaking with this medium expressed joy in the development and prayed that God Almighty continue to uplift indigenes of the town and attract development to their homestead.

Both awardees have at different fora expressed their irreversible commitment to the development of the town. They have promised to continue to make giant strides to put the town in the global map for the best reasons.
