A man has been rescued by doctors at the Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta, Ogun State, after a wooden peg pierced his chest during a fall.

The man was rushed to the Accident and Emergency section of the hospital where he was quickly made to undergo an operation which was successful. He is now recuperating.
