I dont really know much about GEJ - but i must say he is not vocal enough - why not hold biweekly television conferences rather than facebook. I suspect alot might been happening in background but most times lttle actions we see of jonathan speaks volume for example surrounding himself with careers criminal, his so called fight on corruption all tell us otherwise. |

When Babaginda came in 1984 Nigerians were clamouring for men with fresher ideas i believe we are all living witnesses to the fresher ideas, revolutions does not solve problems they only replace a problem no matter how big with a bigger one. Jonathan has been there barely a year, we can point to available petroleum products at stable prices some of us are asking how can that be an achievement for a product that is over subsidised, now did Jonathan increase the subsidy, or was Obj not supposedly paying subsidies while we were sleepin inthe fuel stations. Jonathan would not solve all our problems in 4 or 8yrs, or what would we be living for if all our problems are solved, nation building is always going to be Work in progress. Jonathan is the best bet, democracy and the presidency of the nation is not just for the best man in the land, the best man in the land has to be in contention, there were better Americans when Clinton, Bush and Obama became presidents of America, so in Nigeria there would be those better than Jonathan so if you can not accept this fact can you kindly pick a mop and start mopping the river Niger, if that is too small you can try the Atlantic ocean to keep u busy |

The truth is that Jonathan is a quiet man and a quiet man does a lot which go unnoticed.A noise maker does little and receives so much attention.Jonathan is also camera shy just like Yar'Adua. That is one quality that distinguishes Generals IBB and OBJ.They are never scared to face the camera. GEJ has tried but failed woefully in his little mumbles that overshadowed his positive side. His woes started when he erroneously tried to exonerate MEND from what was clearly MEND.The events from then till now has clearly proven that MEND was behind the bombings. He had chances of apologies and clarifications but some people in his campaign team started pointing accusing fingers at IBB . |

Could the sadist view of this OP be the reason Nigeria has been awashed with wicked and despotic leaders 'cos we truly do not value good leadership when we have one. GEJ can not solve all of Nigeria's problems in one go especially when He has to use wisdom to fight some criminal element even within his own party to achieve His plans for Nigeria. Go all over Nigeria today, you would see HUGE power projects on going! The Turbines that were kept in Ports in Lagos have been mobilized to site by GEJ and installation is on-going and GE has been mobilized to make sure everything relating to installation and utilization of those turbines for electricity generation is realised. In same spirit, GEJ has quietly revived the NIPP and I can tell you that upto 10 NIPPs are nearing completion and they would all be ready by next year but sadly, they wont be able to feed into the national grid util the upgradeto the grid is ready. The relatively ease at which Nigerians now get petroleum products (for which Rewani Lukeman told us we can not get stable and steady supply until sometime in 2014) no doubt has given Nigerians a huge relief. Go to some filling stations today and you would see prizes of 64naira/ltr and you ask yourself, could tis be true?? |

Omo_Tier1: Absolutely! The @OP is himself responsible for all the woes experienced in Nigeria by Nigerians both at the hands of the wicked despotic leaders and equally at the hands of the wicked despotic non-leaders. @Op, it is probably now the case that once we get rid of you, Nigeria will become a better place for all it's people. |
