Investment in agriculture is the best kept secrets in this continent.

Rising population,

rising inflation,

lots of cheaper laborers,

millions of hectares of uncultivated farmland,
dwindling government revenue from oil,
I advice my friends,and family,
about 6 years ago to venture into agriculture
Those that did are happy they did

I am also advising now,
if you are reading this that you should venture into agribusiness.

Learn the rope,
get mentored, and Go for it.
You want to learn ,you can join our agribusiness millionaires training programme

You can also acquire your farmland in any of our farm estates in Ogun, oyo, kwara and osun states.

You have interest in agriculture? right? Good
You also want to make millions from agribusiness? Right

But you don't have interest in having basic know-how about the agricbusiness, then you are a joke

Seek and thirst for knowledge always.

Last year,I registered for a agric training programme to upgrade.
It was expensive but that's the price to pay.
Getting life changing know-how will cost you and you must be willing to pay the price.

You need to have proper knowledge of the weather situation in the area, knowledge of price, history of the people around your location, knowledge of the soil in your location etc and the thing is that they differ from region to region.

As an agropreneur with farm business in many states of the country,I have come to discover that even the knowledge/strategy required for each location is totally different in each of the locations we operate in.

I remember telling my team when we first got to Ijebu to establish our farm estates to seek knowledge from the locals on the weather situation, what's mostly grown there, the people, the foods, etc

Unfortunately,we taught we could cultivate what we are used to in other regions without taking cognance of what's obtainable in Ijebu and we didnot meet our target for the first farm operations.

Knowledge is the gap between success and failure.

The more you learn, the higher your potential of earning.

Unfortunately, knowledge in agriculture is practical and dynamic (ever changing) so you need regular upgrade.

Some people are very smart here, they know little or nothing about agriculture but are intelligent to partner, collaborate with people who has the expertise and knowledge

Well,in anyway you get your knowledge, make sure you have knowledge as a leverage in any venture especially as it pertains to agricbusiness.

Go to where you can get it

It's one of the important leverage you need without which you might not reach your goal

Knowledge is the KEY.

THIRST for it

One thing we do brag about concerning those that are on any of our farm estates in the past 9 years is that our farm estates are the most peaceful, secured and problem -free locations in modern day Nigeria.
Very easy as the oxygen you breathe in and out.

The price of palm oil has been on the increase both on the domestic market and on the international market.

Price is about two times the price of crude oil

This was not so in 2011 when I predicted that agriculture will eventually be the cornerstone in the next decade to come.

Malaysians and the Indonesians came in to Nigeria to pick our oilpalm seeds and turn it into a rock on which they build their economy generating billions of dollars and making them top developed economy in the world.

If you are smart, you should look into investing into this as it's still going to be one of the crop that will rescue Nigeria economy and generate massive wealth for Nigerians.

It should be noted that if you are looking at oilpalm plantation,it's very important that you add value to it by processing it into palm oil and it's derivatives

Even all the residue of oilpalm processing can also generate a diversified income for you apart from the palm oil.

Making good money in farm business is a game of number provided; you can not cultivate 1 acre and expect to have the same revenue from cultivation hundreds of acres.

Now,here you are with little resources to get started and you are stuck because you don't yet have the resources to cultivate 50,100 or more acres.

I can tell you that you are likely to never start anything while you waste years because the perfect condition would not come.

I started with leasing few acres of land somewhere around oke-odan village in Ogun state many years ago because I couldn't afford to even buy.

Now we are cultivating land in their hundreds of acres around five states in Nigeria

We are not there yet but we are not where we used to be.

The bottom line is start now and keep building until you reach the point where you have a sustainable level where good revenue starts flowing.
It's not going to be rosy.
You will run into issues that might want to derail you.
You will have challenges but don't flinch.
l kept going and working because every great thing you see today start from a beginning.

The more you learn and increase your practical knowledge, the more your capacity to earn.

This is a fundamental principles to succeed in agribusiness.

Over the years,I have learnt a lot either by my failures, intentionally or by trial & error which have increase my capacity to earn more yet I am still learning.

It is a continuous process.

There is huge opportunity on this platform to learn from each other and it should not be taken for granted.

My first mistake when venturing into agriculture is having no mentor to guide and one of my goals is to assist and guide as many newbies as possible and put them on a pathway of making money in agriculture.

A 25ltr of palm oil is about N35K
1 hectare of oilpalm can give you 4000ltres of palm oil annually
If you have just 50Ha of well managed oilpalm, you should be okay for decades to come
Own an oilpalm today!!!

If you can't fly...then run.

If you can't run...then walk.

If you can't walk, then crawl but whatever you do,you have to keep moving forward....

Martin Luther king Jnr.

In this part of the world we put a lot of energy on talking but little on action.

More than a decade ago,I set out to start my farm business.i wanted to start with acquisition of 100 acres; 100 acres was a huge goal for me at the time and I thirst for it but unfortunately my financial muscle and my goal do not follow.

So I had to start with leasing 1 hectare somewhere in Ogun state.
I was discouraged and had the choice of abandoning my goal but I understand that I had to walk and worked with leased 1 hectare if I am going to have the opportunity of running with my 100 acres goal.

There is nothing as important as setting your goals and executing.

Executing takes you closer to achieving your goals

The greatest mistake you can make is to have a goal and not be motivated to work in achieving them

If you can't fly with it and you can't run with it,then crawl with it....make sure that no matter how little you progress, you are closer to your goal now than yesterday

Don't just have your goals on paper or in your head without taking actions to achieving it no matter the small steps you take.

The only way is forward ever.

Someone told me last month
"I want to own 500 acres farm"
I said "well, you can do it but where are you starting from this week"

Are you starting from owning few tens of acres first and then move to 100 or 500 or you are waiting for the perfect time?

The fact is perfect time is a mirage.
Keep going,Never stop working on your goals.

Good morning

Before you get started, either you get the knowledge or you work with someone that has the knowledge.
Don't start farm business with no know-how or with no knowledgeable partner.
Money can only be make in agriculture through knowing what to do,how to do it and when to do it.
