The Abubakar Bukola Saraki democratic movement is a group of individuals who are patriots and believe in the tenets of democracy just like our principal Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and we are young professionals determined to see true democracy enthroned in the Nigerian polity.

We have been watching and studying events unfolding in Nigeria presently and we can state that the democratic principles in which Dr. Saraki fought and sacrificed everything for is gradually being eroded and his legacy being attacked by certain elements in the ruling party, APC (all progressive congress). Notably amongst the media attacks against the person of the immediate Past Senate president is that of the self acclaimed National leader of the ruling party, APC better known as Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, his attack at the launching of Akande’s book and in an article on the back page of ‘thisday newspaper’ will not go without a response from us.

There is a need to send out a clear note of warning that we will not allow Dr. Saraki to be dragged into politics for the sake of the ambition of any politician. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu needs to stop attacking the person of Abubakar Bukola Saraki because as supporters we will not sit idly and watch his good name dragged in the mud just for the sake of gaining cheap popularity.

It is clear to everyone that the period of Dr Saraki as Senate president can be said to be the golden years of Nigeria’s democracy as each arm of government was respected both in Nigeria and outside the country and within that period of four years our leader, Dr. Saraki insisted that we respect Bola Tinubu, if for anythingelse, but for his old age and we adhered strictly to that because of the office he occupied but now that he is out of office we are not obliged to keep mum, it falls on us to defend his honour and good name.

Henceforth, we have resolved that any more attack from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, be it verbal or otherwise will be met fire for fire. We have done a comprehensive background check on all his activities in Chicago, USA and we are ready to fully reveal aspects of his past life that may not be good for his image. You can fool some people all the time but you can’t fool all the people all the time, Same Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who postures as a lover of the masses and a progressive, recently took possession of a private jet worth $60million, an equivalent of 20 billion Naira with a tail number VP-CBT, one wonders how a lover of the masses will squander such funds on his personal luxury at a time the country has 90% of its citizens living in poverty.

We are aware Asiwaju claims the funds for the purchase of the private jet is from private business, Nigerians are eager to know if he can support such claims with evidence and tax papers. The Bullion van that was seen entering his home few days to 2019 general election is also a case we have serious interest in and we will make sure that the drive for the prosecution of whoever is responsible for such act is seen to a conclusive end by the EFCC and the Interpol if necessary.

If Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu feels insulted by this publication and write-up, we simply call on him to tell Nigerians how he came about his stupendous wealth. After all, that wouldn’t be too much to ask from someone who has his eyes on the number one seat in the land.

This sound warning should remind Tinubu that eceb though he forfeited half a million dollars of drug money in the 90’s, he should be aware that there are no statue of limitations and with new evidence, he can still be charged.
