Nigerians in UK has occupied the Nigerian Embassy in London to demand for the release of Mr. Sowore. Mr. Sowore was last week, rearrested by the DSS while in court. A federal high court had earlier issued an order for the immediate release of Sowore. Even though the Nigerian government complied, they would later disobey the court order to rearrest Sowore during a court proceeding in Abuja. Despite the general election going on in UK today, Nigerians in their large numbers defied all odds to stage a protest at the Nigerian Embassy demanding the release of the embattled journalist.
