The minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, said that President Muhammadu Buhari, has given approval for commencement of the disbursement of the long awaited Cabbotage Vessels Financing Fund (CVFF) by January 2020.

The minister who said this on Friday in Lagos at the 2019 Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) appreciation night, also said that the ministry will be meeting with all the heads of agencies under the transportation ministry on Tuesday to know their plans for the fund.
