The All Progressives Congress (APC) South West Forum, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter, has dismissed the purported existence of a souring working relationship between President Muhammadu Buhari & Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, saying that there is no bad blood between the duo.

The chairman of the forum, Pastor Olusegun Erinle, who addressed a press conference yesterday in Abuja, said both Buhari & Osinbajo have enjoyed cordial working relationship since their election in 2015.

Pastor Erinle, who warned those fanning the embers of discord to repent, dismissed the story of rancour between the duo and claimed that the insinuation was orchestrated by the fifth columnist.

The APC chieftain, who implored Nigerians to support the Buhari government to deliver its electoral promises, voiced concern that such divisive insinuation was capable of distracting the government from implementing and achieving the Next Level Agenda if not checked.

He said, “It becomes auspicious and expedient of us that the APC South West Forum, FCT chapter, should come on air particularly to allay the fear that has currently become palpable in our public space over time on the purported souring working relationship between President Buhari and his deputy, Prof. Osinbajo.

“Since the inauguration of this government in 2015,Change Agenda has not only brought about the meaningful redirection that has positively positioned our economy on the part of progress and sustainable development, but has also demonstrated a healthier understanding and a robust working relationship like we have never had before between our past president and his deputy.

The president has always expressed confidence on his deputy. People should not instigate our leaders against themselves. There is no bad blood between the two.”

Indeed. To the extent that VP did not even know about the court invasion and had to stylishly denounce it and disown the action. Why are family members and friends more powerful than the VP in the a democratic government. To the extent that they are making decisions for even the president without the VP’s knowledge or input.

Don’t use the VP to launder this governments image. Put the blame where it belongs. Those family and friends that have positioned themselves as more powerful than the VP. It’s time they owned their mess up and reap the harvest they have sown. Pride goes before a fall.

Shame on this South West Forum. With all the events in the recent past we are not fooled. The VP’s loud silence is enough to tell everyone what is going on. APC should stop presenting itself as a party of liars and keep shut.

So of all the ugly burning national issues beleaguering Nigeria @ present esp.the Sowore debacle & systematic crippling of the SW power block by this tyrannic govt, this is the only thing this fellow can talk about?

Meanwhile, pregnancy cant be hidden while you can't tell a blind man that it's raining or a train is approaching.

cool

the disagreement only exist in the mind of Ipobian terrorist...

APC has two major stakeholders which are CPC (the Buhari Organisation) and ACN (tinubu and his men)
There is a power rotation formular and it would be stupid if ACN start lording it over Buharist, the plot is simple, let Buhari and nrth enjoy their 8 years and let ACN and South enjoy its 8years later

So sharing of political booty @ the expense of national cohesion, stability and development?
It's not easy to defend the gaffes of this accursed government.

Its called political maturity, a level i believe one region cant attain without looking at the big picture

you can call it whatever you like political booty or bounty, since Aguiyi and Prof Nwabueze drafted the Unitary constituition, politics is the game of winner takes all and development is directly linked to the level of power your region can retain to its self

Go and read the duties of the VP in the Nigerian constitution first.

Are we still on this? We've seen from time past and present that both enjoy a working relationship. It all started from the President expressing his constitutional duties and some persons misinterpreted it all.
