Guys, i need yall to advise me on the next step to take with my life. Im currently a serving corps member, though ill be passing out in 2 to 3 months time, but the problem is that I've not figured out the next step to take. I cant seem to have the mental strength to think of what to do after my service year. I also have a bit of gambling addiction. Its almost as if thats my last hope of how to hit it big. All i do most of the time is look for the next games to bet on. I studied mass communication, n i would like to build a media career but i also wanna be acquire skills, especially digital ones. cos there are no jobs out there. Guys please i need ur wise counsel cos it seems as though my life doesnt have a direction n purpose right now. Im ashamed to have this conversation with even people close to me(friends and family)cos i feel i will be judged , thats why i brought it to this forum . thanks in anticipation of your contributionS

guy, just arrange your cv, list names of Radio, TV or Newpapers you wanna work, go to them with your printed cv and cover letter and submit them, make sure you meet the HR or Director of one of the departments, tell them you want an internship..i promise you dem dey look for workers...gather experience for 1 year and then apply to other media houses for salary position...shekena

In media even without salary position, you can make cash. doing freelancing

After 4years in the university you still don't know what to do with your life Just gather some money and open a betting shop since that is where your passion is.

Start from your Instagram page. Create content. Then apply to all these online TVs: Ndani, RedTv, PlusTv, etc. Work for a few months and move to the next station.

Be deliberate. Don’t give up after any rejection. People that matter recognise determination and they will pick you.
