Oyo State Government, through the Secretary to the State Government Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun has said that the present administration in the State will not pay lip service to the Economic Status of the citizens of the State.

She stated this during a courtesy visit paid to her by Chief of UNICEF Dr. Tushar Rane at Governor's Office Secretariat Ibadan.

The Secretary to the State Government said, Oyo State Government is ready to partner with International Agencies that want to work with the State Government to improve the Economic Status of the citizens, through aggressive Poverty Alleviation Programmes that would upgrade the Economic Status of the people.

She reiterated the four Cardinal Programmes of the Government as Education, Health, Security and Economic expansion through which according to the Secretary to the State Government the present administration in the State is ready to partner with investors and Private Organisations for the good people of the State.

Responding, Chief of UNICEF Dr. Tushar Rane, pledged the UNICEF support to partner with the State Government.

Present at the event were the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon Adeniyi Farinto, Permanent Secretary Mrs A.O Adebiyi and many others.
