The product of the collaboration between Porsche and Lucas film arrived: the Tri-Wing S-91x Pegasus Star fighter inspired by Taycan. The fantasy vehicle has the iconic sloping roof of a Porsche and the shots seen in the Taycan 2020. It is a sports car for the sky.

On Lucas film's side, the star fighter was inspired by the fighters X-Wing,
Y-Wing and U-Wing. The six-week collaboration between the teams was documented in this 12-minute documentary that details how each team offered its design and experience keys to create the star fighter.

The designers were given parameters for the star fighter they were collaborating on: they had to have two front entrances, a large rear cargo door and space for two pilots and a maximum of five crew members. The Porsche team said it opted for a wide and thin body instead of a tall and narrow one so as not to deviate from the Porsche design spirit.
