EFCC & ICPC Invite Apapa Local Government Chairman Part 2 by venom121: 10:16am On Dec 15, 2019 |
Since the suspension of the ifako ijaye chairman by the Lagos state house assembly, some of the other local government chairmen have been running helter skelter, not to suffer the same fate. It seems all is not well in Apapa local government, because Mr Elijah Adele who is the chairman was recently invited by the EFCC and ICPC. It seems the commission has also visited the council and are still doing their investigation to ascertain certain facts. Since the invitation by the commission the chairman is claiming to be empowering fictitious people with 100,000 naira per person. The local government roads are terrible,no visible projects to show and you decide to give money away to people nobody can identify. Others will tell you they were given 5k, while other groups will tell you they got 10,000 naira. So who are the masses collecting 100,000 naira. The other disturbing issue is that while Mr Elijah Adele is the chairman, the former house rep who is the immediate chairman of the council Mr Ayodeji Joseph always comes to the council on a daily basis as if he is still the chairman of the council. Ikoyi/Obalende LCDA and some other local governments are also on the watch list, It seems most of the chairmen are doing money empowerment to justify how the funds are spent. If they tell you they gave 200,000 people 100,000 naira each how do you confirm it,when the money is paid in cash. We shall wait and see what will happen next. Mr Elijah Adele the chairman of apapa local government did his empowerment program yesterday the 18th during which he gave 160 people 100,000 naira each. We were told he saw our earlier write up above, complaining about who were the ghost people receiving the money he said he was giving the community. So what he did was to do a program brochure with all the pictures of the 160 people and they were paid the money at the council in front of the apapa community. The people of Apapa Lga should thank the EFCC & ICPC because without them, the chairman would not be giving out this money which is to justify his spending. We also found out that chairman has refused to buy official cars for the Vice Chairman and SLG because they do not like the way he is running the council. While the counsellors and other political office holders have been given official cars.

Where is your source? If the security agencies pick you up now or the chairman sues your a rse,you and your people would come rolling on the floor, begging for forgiveness and claiming it was the hardiwork of his enemies. If you are bold enough and sure of your facts,go to Twitter or FB and post these same allegations of yours, instead of hiding behind a faceless forum to write unsubstantiated allegations. |

What have I said that is not public knowledge. Is it the 100,000 naira given to fictitious people after the efcc visit in the name of empowerment. After we complained that we could not find a single person that got 100k he now did a program tagged skill acquisition on weds the 18th of December and gave 160 people 100,000 naira each. He even went as far as including their pictures in the program brochure as verification so as to have extra proof. If you go to the apapa council area, even the people within the lga know the chairman has refused to by official cars for the vice chairman and secretary to the local government. All I am saying is that things are hard for the common man, we complain about buhari and the state governors without holding these chairmen accountable. They now collect direct allocations from federal coffers and if they see that we are following them bumper to bumper the little man just might win. If you go to Mushin LGA and Yaba LGA you will see how they run their perspective councils in harmony. The unity has trickled down to masses in the LGA and the people are starting to feel the impact of their local government. |
