In 2019 elections every ethnic group had a candidate nominated by one party or the other and they did not all come from North. If this turn by turn you describe is legal INEC would have disqualified those candidates. There is nothing like appeasement to the Yorubas. The issue of MKO is still fresh in our memory and he won a national election which the military guys annulled. The military gave back the democracy to the people and the Yorubas were deem fit to contest the slot since they already won an election.
