Put aside the Ronaldo /Messi debate, El Classico has always been a heated and interesting game but the personal rivalry between the two made it even more exiting. It was always fun watching who would take the bragging rights between those two. 2 Likes |

Astark:Yeah, the El Clasico rivalry has existed for generations. It's a battle between not just Real Madrid and Barcelona, but against Spain and Catalonia. There's a lot of tension in its history. But whether you agree with it or not, the Messi-Ronaldo rivalry in this generation had greatly intensified the El Clasico. So for this generation, without Ronaldo, the El Clasico is just not what it used to be. If Barca beats Real, it won't be as much of a deal as it used to be. 1 Like |
