An undergraduate from Igbinedion University won the Intercontinental Bank's National Essay Competition and was presented with a cash prize of N500,000 and a laptop

The Intercontinental Bank Plc on Thursday presented a N500,000 educational grant, a cash price of N500, 000 and one Mini Laptop to Nwankwo Admora, a student of Igbinedion University, Okada.

Ms Admora, a 300 level medical student, emerged winner of the bank's National Essay Competition.

Mahmoud Alabi, the bank Group Managing Director, said that the bank invested in the educational sector to promote standard of education and build the nation's intellectual growth.

Mr Alabi said that the bank had demonstrated a deep
commitment to the development of the nation's education sector through the award of scholarships and donations to institutions of higher learning.
