Jesus promised those that serve him eternal life and an inheritance incorruptible, reserved in the heavens for them. The devil promised those that serve him all the kingdom, power and glory of this world. So the next time someone says, "it is impossible to serve the Lord and be poor", I hope that now you know who that Lord is? |
