The Vice- Chancellor, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu–Alike, Ebonyi State, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba has received more donations from staff, meant to support the ongoing projects in the University.

In the spirit of ‘ibu anyi danda’ which the Vice-Chancellor has continued to preach since his assumption of office, members of the Afikpo /Edda Family, an association of Afikpo and Eda indigenes of Ebonyi State, that work in the University, on Saturday, 14th December, 2019, donated 112 bags of cement to support the good works going on in the institution.

While making the presenting the bags of cement, Mr. Chris Arua, President of the association, eulogized Prof. Nwajiuba for his commitment to rapid transformation of the young University, stating that the bags of cement was to support the infrastructural development going on everywhere on the campus. In his response the Vice-Chancellor thanked the association for their kind gesture and prayed for God’s abundant blessings on them.

In another vein, on Monday, 17th, December 2019, Mr Ukoro David, a Security Officer in charge of Surveillance, (O/C Surveillance) made a donation of 20 bags of cement to appreciate the Vice-Chancellor, for the good job he is doing in the University.

Receiving the donation, Prof. Nwajiuba said he was very impressed with the determination of staff to support Management in making AE-FUNAI a world Class University, and thanked Mr. Ukoro for the support and wished him well in his endeavors.
