1) Have you ever sat down to ask why the PDP is not saying 'it is the turn of the Igbos'?

Every party looks for candidates that can win elections for them.

2) Zoning is in the PDP and not in the Constitution of Nigeria. Because of this fact, there is no widely agreed order zoning or any authority to enforce it.

Even within the PDP, when Good luck Jonathan wanted to run in 2011 against the zoning arrangement of the party, the Northern political power brokers took him to court in an attempt to force him out of the presidential race but the Court ruled that the PDP zoning formula couldn't be enforced because it's inferior to the Constitution.

3) There is no way you can completely shut out other Nigerians from the race and insist that ONLY candidates from the S/East should buy presidential forms and participate in presidential primaries of their parties.


4) There have NEVER been any presidential primaries in which ONLY candidates from one tribe/Geopolitical zone participated.

5) If an Igbo candidate wins the presidential primaries of the APC or the PDP, it's possible for him to win the general election but to think that you can force other Nigerians out of the race without contest but just by shouting Afonja or sitting down in your comfort zone and be abusing others saying ' you are greedy, it's our turn', you will be disappointed.

Yoruba politicians (just like Nupe, Ijaw or Fulanislaves politicians can do the same) in the APC can scheme for other power blocks in their party to support them to get APC ticket in 2023 but this is not exactly the same thing as presidency being zoned south. What if APC doesn't win?

We are no longer practicing one party system. Getting APC presidential ticket doesn't automatically translate to getting the presidency.




Yoruba politicians in the PDP can (should also) contest for the PDP ticket in 2023.
Atiku, Wike, Kwankwanso or Peter Obi are also free to contest for the PDP too.

OBJ was in Prison, when the PDP was formed, OBJ has no political structure yet he became the President of Nigeria in 1999.
Jonathan was just a Deputy Governor, before luck catapulted him to become the President, without any political structure!

Obj was one time military Governor and was brought in to heal the wounds of the Yorubas after the June 12/MKO demise .... You dont seem to realize that the Igbo are an ELECTION MINORITY.

On paper, they may claim to be one of the three major tribes but politically, even South South offers more electoral value that the South East, so How is it possible that ordinary 5% will be the arrow-head of a Southern Presidency?
Abeg, face reality. If you dont support the S.W, you cant EVER smell Aso Rock but the South will occupy (and have occupied) that post with the support of the North (I am sure we both know that the North WILL NEVER support and Igbo President the distrust is just too deep `and one can not blame them)
