Anybody can claim to be Edo. Who is Obaseki fighting. Idahagbon,madame Blacky,Osakpamwan,Kabaka,Obahiagbon,Osifo,Okaiben,Obazee,Odubu,Use Iyamu,Amegor ,these are just a few people that matter from his own Bini ethnic group. Let's not even go north or central which is slightly pdp. Now he has fought against the palace. I hope you saw the reception Odubu got at the palace after the nomination. Sometimes who brings development does not matter.with this action Obaseki wants development to come through him.and ready to fight everybody. Also if Edo looses Nddc chairman how is it Oshiomhole downfall. Or is it not Edo downfall? You think Oshiomhole cannot get an ally from Delta or Ondo if it is zoned there?

Obaseki, his deputy, Shaibu; Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Osarodion Ogie, and Chief of Staff, Taiwo Akerele, are on one side in the fight against Oshiomhole and Charles Idahosa, who was Political Adviser to Oshiomhole for 8 years, is also on the side of Obaseki.
On the side of Oshiomhole is mostly Edo Peoples Movement (EPM) - the group that has now been banned by Obaseki in Edo APC, which is co-convened by a former Minority Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon Samson Osagie, and a former Attorney General of the state, Hon. (Barr.) Henry Idahagbon.
Other APC members believed to be uncomfortable with the governor and would not hesitate to see his back in 2020 include the 14 lawmakers-elect who have not been sworn-in; General Charles Aihiravbere; Osakpanmwan Eriyo; a former deputy governor, Dr Pius Odubu; Lucky Imasuen (another former deputy governor), and Tony Adun Jr.(Kabaka).
Others include Gideon Obakhan; a former senatorial candidate, Francis Inegbeneki; a former Speaker and former state Chairman of the party, Thomas Okosun; a former 2-time Commissioner in the state, Barr. Chris Ebare; Professor Julius Ihonvbere and Abdul Oroh.

Also, the talk about NDDC it's very lame. If Osho needs money from NDDC to fight Obaseki, he can as well plant any other crony from any other NDDC state as Chairman and be getting money from him. You see that?

True, and also the fact that Obaseki was handpicked by Oshiomole means he should be given his due and not to be rubbished. Even the man talking wouldn't have been opportuned if Obaseki was not handpicked.

The greatest asset Oshiomole has in this fight is Obaseki's leaking mouth.

Oshiomole hasn't said pim in this matter. Instead of Obaseki to shut up and play his game underground, he's making noise, exposing his game plan to his enemy.

Obaseki. I expected the governor to show proof of the people who Oshiomhole nominated. Talk is cheap. I do know leaders in each local government choose representative that is why Oshiomhole has followers. It is like saying the president picked all the ministers. Obaseki honestly does not understand politics.

To me the biggest revelation in that statement is the governor acceptance and happiness that a Benin man is at the verge of loosing the NDDC chairmanship position just because he sees him as an opponent.
I am sure the Oba will be happy with Obaseki for fighting against the interest of the Binis and also the people will be happy. In his desperation to fight Oshiomhole and cling to power he has forgotten the purpose of power is to attract development. Odubu is a representative of Edo in that board. Obaseki has decided to openly fight the Edo agenda just because of second term.
He honestly has lost the palace and the remenant of the Benin support.
The question he should ask himself is who looses if Edo looses the NDDC chairmanship position. It is Edo. Oshiomhole can nominate an ally from Delta or Ondo if it is zoned there. Edo alone will loose. It just underlines how selfish he is and it is good people can now see clearly who has the interest of Edo at heart.

Obaseki wants Oshiomhole to behave like a god father. I am sure if Oshiomhole says today automatic second term for Obaseki the fight will stop is that not the character of a godfather? Obaseki should compete with others in a primary it is democracy if people decide to support another it is democracy.

Is it the duty of Obaseki to champion the case of Delta? Is he the governor of Delta? Irrationally it is the turn of Delta. Have u seen the governor or political leaders of Delta carry it on their head like gala? Crying more than the beareved.
It is the turn of Delta to produce both the chairman and coincidentally the MD also. As a compromise that arrangement was agreed.

In fact, Oshiomhole compiled the list of those to be appointed commissioners in Edo in his sitting room in 2016. Asides from picking the governor, he also picked his deputy and the SSG.”.....Cowards why weren't they bold enough to say this in 2016?

This is even a lie as Oshiomole had challenged him in the past and he agreed Oshiomole had nominated only one commissioner. He later sacked the one commissioner Oshiomole nominated. That had been the public domain. Where is this one coming from?

Why dont we like d truth in dis part of d world.

We should discuss issues and not selfish desire of an overrated god fada.
Wat we should be of uttermost interest is the completion of Benin industrial park,seaport project,Edo modular refinery and Benin auto park.
These are issues they should tackle the governor because it has a multiplier effect on job creation for the youths not the selfish desires of a few self-seeking politicians.
Never since the history of Edo state has a governor conceived,harnessed and working hard to acheive it with steady progress.
Are the critics blind that they are not aware of Edo production hub and others?
If we mean well for Edo and want Edo to progress Obaseki is the man for the job.
