8 Things to Know About the Rift between Zamfara Governor and His Commissioner of Education


1. Zamfara state Commissioner of Education, Alhaji Jamilu Zannah has resigned from office barely two weeks after he was inaugurated as a member of the state executive council. He announced his resignation on Saturday while speaking to newsmen at his Gusau residence.

2. It should be noted that Zannah was Matawalle's campaign director during the 2019 governorship election in the state. Also, He was a former state chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers and the Nigeria Labour Congress.
