Are there a certain age that a spouse or mate shouldn't have pet names?  Do you think that pet names should be kept hidden? Do you think that pet names are childish or not necessary?

My husband and I have some cute pet names for each other and we keep it private.  It something like a code we use to signal each other.  I think it cute to have a sexy pet name for your spouse or mate especially if you guys are in a committed relationship.

What do you think?  Do you like pet names?

I like pet names too! I like the pet name my husband gave me and when he uses it, people don't know that is my pet name they assumed it something he just saying out of the blue and I always smile because it bring spices in our relationship!

I suggest that people use pet names that ONLY THE COUPLE would know what it means,

Please do not use pet name like itchy coochie or stinky booty, that is not a sexy pet name!

@topic yes pet names are cute, I have one for my boo coded and another one from her name which I call her in public, I never called her by her name.

Reality,

You know what my husband don't call me by my real name either and I don't call him by his name much only time I called him by his name when we in the crowd and I will ask for him by his name because people don't know our pet names for each other anyways,

When my husband calls me by my real name I starts to get nervous! That how you know something is up! I am trying to come up with some dirty pet names, we have sweet pet names but I think couples should have dirty pet names,
