First and foremost, know that yam can be harvested twice in a year. And know that no amount of money invested on it can be lost except if you abandon the farm by yourself |

currently we are planting over 2000 yam sets against next year by the grace of God aside the 1000 yam sets already planted. |

although the earlier your planting the better your chances of harvesting twice. most time, it starts from November- December , or December-January, Or January _ February. the Best is November -December to able to meet up with the second harvesting. Alas second harvesting yield more output than the first harvest. |

And note, we have different species of yam in the market based on their economic value. 3 Major ones are: 1. Afuru 2.Efo 3.Oniyere or Iseosi. |

And Note: I assure you, there is no amount of money invested on yam farming that is a waste. You will reap all of your investment at least 80% based on my experience. with Good management 96% of return |

As at Today we have planted over 1500 yam sets aside the initial planted one (900 yam sets) in the Mid November.

And anytime I will like quiting the planting due to the stress involved, I always have a flash back of my harvesting this year around June - July. and late September. The income is more than my initial capital. |

Having 900 yam sets, You earn of a profit 700,000 per year if harvested twice. if 2000 yam sets, you can earn up to 1.5M in year if harvested twice. |
