The safety record of the Fokker 100 is very poor and coupled with the it's mother company has closed and renders no more technical support for the jet so any operator using them is doing so at great risk

Thank God for safety..

but from the pic. First and business class passengers that pay millions for their ticket have higher chances of dying from this crash than the economy passengers sitting at the back that paid less..

My sincere condolences to those that lost their loved ones. I also thank God that there was no fire outbreak. The casualties would have been more.

Few years ago, turbulence and bad weather that kept us from landing at MMA for about 1hr, nearly killed me.

Not a good experience.

I believed up to this time u did'nt believe that God exist, and He is in control of whatever happen to you whether of good or bad. According to Islamic teaching if tragedy happen u dont link it directly to any human, unless if it so glaring that dat person at fault, even at that, God has already destined that. that will happen, that person is only on the way, for example, if someone kill you, that person killed you with the will of God. Now the principle is that, if the whole world will gether together to harm u they wont succeed if God say no, likewise if the whole world will gether to benefit u they wont succeed if God did'nt destine that to happen to u. Therefore accusing a leader directly for happening of catastrophy is ignorant to the highest peak unlesss if it is so glaring that such leader is at fault. Those 14 peoples who died it is already ordained by Allah that they will died at that fucking time, date and place, whether their is plane crash or not they most die on that very day, no single second will be added to them. I am not saying this to protect Buhari but to add to the basket of your knowledge.

No agency inspects a plane before flight?
Yes,no agency is saddled with de responsibility of doing dat b4 each take off.However,de engineers in every airline coy will carry out just a routine checks on de aircraft before taking off.Unless dere is a turn around back to apron after taxing due technical faults before dia civil aviation authority (like NCAA in Nigeria) can conduct thorough checks n give authorization before de aircraft take of again.

Meanwhile,RIP to de dead.De scene of air accident can be so horrifying.God protect ur people abeg!
