Law Student Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), RSU (Rivers State University) Chapter has a female President for the first time in 36 Years


In this contemporary times were women are becoming influential figures in the society alongside the men, it is always an amazing experience and news to hear or witness women make immanent history in their endeavors or field of life.

This is the case of Law Student Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), RSU Chapter were for the first time in its history, a woman has been able to defile all odds and emerge victorious as the President of the entire Faculty of Law in Rivers State University in the recently concluded elections in the aforementioned faculty on the Friday, 20th of December, 2019.

The name of this reputable lady who has made such an amazing feats and immanent history in the Faculty of Law, RSU is Victoria Georgewill Azubike and she hails from Ogba town, Egbema LGA.

It is also vital importance to know that the Faculty of Law, Rivers State which is known to have groomed the likes of Judith Amaechi (formerĀ First Lady of Rivers State), Magnus Abe (Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria) and Nyesom Ezenwo Wike (currentĀ Governor of Rivers State) was established in year 1983 and the Law Student Association of Nigeria(LAWSAN) came to operation in the following year being 1984.
