“I think it is important to point out that the current effort by President Goodluck Jonathan to continue in office after ending his tenure on 29th May 2011, instead of ensuring we have free and fair elections in this country, is a reflection of the governance crisis. We have a President who is trying to self succeed himself through a process which amount to a political coup in his own political party. In a democracy nobody should think that he/she has to be president or there will be no Nigeria.
