Those saying it may be under threat. Does he have evidence to support his claim? Has he reported the threat? To me, he is the mastermind of the amateur robbery.

my brother, everybody is surprised o. I know that guy too well. In fact I go to him when ever I go to do anything over the counter. Guy is damn nice and even fresher than you see him. Those up there are definitely his old photos. What ever reason he had cannot justify his action. His innocent looks doesn't matter now right? Painful enough he got that job just this year.

looks can be deceptive but from the report it was stated that he drove them to the bank himself.. and according to his statements he decided his family were under siege by the same robbers.
so the police should carryout independent investigation over to hllllll

That is a lie. Why can't he report to the police or to his boss? Just stupid lies
I wonder, how did he know and met the guy that is at large who said he will kill his family if he doesn't comply. They are all in the same circle

Which one is more easier now? See, had it been he has briefed his boss, this is how they will still arrest and by then he will have witness.

You have to be smarter than your problems. Happy New Year

The person who threatened to kill his family is still not arrested. If he did not cooperate, his family will be a target now.

Why I believe he is innocent is that he drove the robbers to the bank. No one is that stupid. If it was a plan by him, he would have separated himself from the act and just passed information.

If really he drove them there, he must have done it under duress. May God see him through if he's innocent.

This guy does look like an armed robber or criminal.

Police should do a thorough investigation.

I suspect he carried out the act under threat. Either his family was held by the robbers, either he complies or they are killed.

The guy is not like a criminal
I thought as much, but did he report this to the police? I think he planned to do a one off and make it big time. My opinion though

When someone has threatened to kill your family, you think it is easy to report to your boss? If the attack foils without his cooperation, one shot and a member of his family is gone forever.
you can not fight crime by crime, if he report they (police) can even ask him to cooperate with them(the robbers)so those robbers can be arrested.

I think he made the wrong choice cooperating. Although reporting is risky, the risk is less compared to cooperating with them. Reporting to the police was the best option.

Report says, Larry Ehizo, a Customer Service Officer of a First bank at Mpape, Abuja, where a robbery attempt was foiled by policemen and soldiers last Saturday has given details of how the robbers gained access to the banking hall with his help.

According to him, the mastermind of the robbery, one Ernest, who is at large, had threatened to kill his family if he did not comply.

https://newsflash247.com.ng/how-i-helped-robbers-in-foiled-abuja-bank-robbery-staff/

He just does not look it at all. I think he is saying the truth.
Yeah and it just so happens that he is the only one among ALL the staff of that bank that has a family that they could pick on if he didn't have some relationship with the robbers.

Sometimes I get to think it's not totally about poverty, we have that insatiable greed within us.. If it's just poverty, someone who steals and hits a million would stop and find something doing... This guy works in a bank and would have fully waited for his time and keep on trying... I have a friend who worked for the bank on a contract, left and now does a very cheap job for living, yet he never thinks of how to get a quick dough... Poverty isn't the major thing, it's so minor whem compared to our greed...

There is little chance that your hardwork will grant you success in Nigeria today.

i think there is, insurance marketing job depends on your production.

Exactly my view... I heard a thing Professor Soyinka said about insatiable greed... I remember my life as a Gboy, I thought if I should collect my first cash, I would forget this thing and find something better doing, but when I hit the cash, reckless spending began and I kept on doing more... I had to determine I wanted to stop before I could... Looked for a job which was paying me 10k per month and I was able to keep on living...until few months later, I got another job paying 40k monthly and this is another year, God would do more for me.. But I have learned to be satisfied even when not filled
