For lack of understanding, I would like to ask why an old hand in this game would post stuff like this? How does it benefit anyone? If all we did here was post trades running in 100s of pips after the fact, would you come to meet an active thread?

My problem with peeps here is how they overestimate their importance after making 200pips.

I mean, anyone one can do that in a trending market but replicating such on the long run is what matters.

Why would anyone want to post profit to a call they never posted. Its really childish.

In the spirit of being childish. We are now about 100pips shy of our 1000pips target and of course almost 50R! As much as I'd like to systematically update my swing trades step by step, it's not going to happen. The law of diminishing returns has begun to set in

It's just to tell you there is nothing special about posting of trade in profit, anyone can do that. Including me!

Why did you open different positions on AUDJPY and GBPJPY, which of course are positively correlated.

Why not just enter all the positions on one pair? Just curious.

Daddy, I realised it helps you hold trades longer and gives you the ability to take off profits to grow your equity while you free your margin to take new trades. Like here I closed all other positions in about 500pips moves and then let this 20% of my total lots play with whatever the markets has to offer.

The pairs might be in positive corelation but they won't always have same volatility. See how GJ has given almost 1000pips but AJ is around just a tiny 600pips. So instead of investing the covid19 palliative that baba paid in my account to buy 2 danfos, I used some to buy 1danfo and 1keke. More like diversity of investment.

Moreover, I've learnt to respect the individuality of each pair these days. Come and see the day GJ was going up and EJ went down, I thought it was happening because my phone battery was at 6%

About 40pips up on this. I'm personally still going to hold over the weekend for more retrace. Very bad time to still be trading but couldn't pass up on what I saw

Back to EURAUD.
I am still very much bullish.

My earlier entry was simply rushed and stupid. Peak FOMO.

Today's candle gives me the hope of a very precise entry next week.

My eyes now on the price action at the lower circled area if price gets there.
I have to work with today's low and Monday's open to see if that would provide an opportunity.

I would love to see the low designated by the green line swept. With subsequent reclaim of the level.
That would also imply a sweep of the present day's low.


As always, I think getting a precise entry is the most difficult bit. Even more difficult than determining the destination.

Remember 1.6770

Over the weekend, will look at this again bias wise. Especially factoring in AUDUSD which seems to have defied gravity, and is not looking back. If it doesn't show weakness, this trade won't work.

USDJPY has room to run.

Despite the recent massive USD sell off. USD made substantial gains against the YEN. I expect a USD recovery against the other pairs. What I am saying is this: USDJPY should not see any significant drop any time soon.

We can clearly see a key structure level has been taken. And price has held above it so far.

What's next?
Probably a retest of the region.
If that holds.. We see the purple line.

The destination is clear : 111.70

A thing about the USDJPY is that when it moves, it moves. I once looked at the weekly chart and noticed it does not put in long wicks on the weekly. So I don't expect the pullback to go below that key structure level.

If I am not sure yet as to if it has found support.. There is a trick.. But I don't think I will resort to that.

Eyes firmly on the grey box. It's an area of interest. There are also liquidity bases there.

Word of caution. Everybody sees that key structure level. I won't be surprised if prices are manipulated around there to induce shorts, trap shorts and force out buyers.


I will show this one no mercy if it goes to plan. We wait to see. The idea is to stay sharp.
