It is either somewhere in Abia or Ebonyi State. But I put my bet on Abia.

Jesus! So it was a setup b d driver?
I honestly can't tell but we were informed afterward that drivers who drive around the route are from the village and that their vehicles always break down around that particular road... More like a way of asking the villagers that free meats have arrived.

Not the whole of the South East though. Just Isiala-Ngwa and a part of Ebonyi (sic).

That of Isiala-Ngwa was an experience upclose. Vehicle 'broke down' and villagers started walking in the bushes on both sides of the road as we walked. You could hear them but barely see them, just some colours of their clothes.

The saving grace for us was one of the ladies with us who called someone and called out the vehicle number plate of the vehicle we charted that 'mistakenly broke down'. The vehicle miraculously started when she told the person to visit a particular park to arrest the driver if she isn't heard from in two hours.

My spirit strolled away from my body that Saturday afternoon and that ended my Owambe campaign in the South East.

No vex, which side for Ebonyi?

What's the lie? That it happened to him or that there are cannibals in igbo land.... Please click the link someone posted on page six and see the video there... Confirmed! The people didn't even look archaic. Very puzzling and annoying.
That video looks fake/staged - pls don’t tell me you are convinced by that video?

If this is true those villages need to be wiped out. I hear once you eat human meat you become obsessed with it and deranged to a certain extent. This is why when people turn cannibal they either put them down or lock them away in psychiatric ward abroad for a very long time.
I haven't been there but I'd like to believe the emboldened is false. Plus, a friend from Ngwa claimed it all started with the Civil War. Most of their people had to feed on corpses as meat source and protein and some of their people are still hung up on it till date.

Why it is still very much in existence is the clannishness and wicked mindset of the communities where these things take place. Other Igbos from other states are not even safe in these communities.

Plus, I have heard one share a testimony of how he was delivered of cannibalism, an Ebonyi dude, the guy. He didn't look derange let alone something close to a mad man.

Cannibalism issue is an open secret in the South East even though it is barely talked about on social media. And instead of tackle it head on, governments from these area unconsciously reinforce these communities by not challenging the craze.

If you are fat, round or plumpy and you find yourself in Isiala-Ngwa, you'll be viewed as a full-grown alpha manatee ready to be dissected.

Not sure I still remember. But I have someone more like a sister who got transferred to work in Ebonyi. She was stalked repeatedly until her colleagues advised her to always pretend to be on the phone and give out her location to the imaginary person at the other end just when she is followed.

It worked like a charm before she was transferred to Aba.

That should be in Igboland since Mr. Ibu spoke to them in their language.

In Arochukwu and Isiala-Ngwa, those ones are notorious cannibals and they still practice it today, codedly.
Even broader Ngwa land, they are known for cannibalism, especially those their small small villages in the bush.

Before you argue, can you tell me why in Ngwa land, people face oncoming people and walk by the left hand side instead of the right?
That's because if the cutlass of the cannibal hunters is to swing, it's harder swinging from the left to the right.

For those asking for proof, watch this video of Igbos speaking Igbo language and cooking a full-grown male human.

I am Igbo and is aware of isiala ngwa barbarism, also annag in Akwa ibom, then ikwun/okon community fight where those villagers ate their enemies.
I do not believe Arochukwu because I ve travelled n been in many villages of Aro,let's be very careful in towns we mention without confirmations.. they said it's even more in isiala ngwa north than isialangwa south.
My Yoruba brethren, which town/ state used to give the heart of the demised king to his successor to eat?

Lol! Things happen o.

The testimony took place in my church in Enugu. The atmosphere became chilly instantly when the guy shared his testimony. I can't forget that moment in my life!

A friend I mentioned in one post on this same thread lost her grandma and he relayed how his own biological sister who had never been to the village was stalked when they got there. He claimed it was his father who told them that she is his child and not a stranger or a visitor.

He claimed one of them unconsciously hinted how the lady would taste because she is big boned. Out of fear, they had to return her to Enugu that day, with his brother, the one who relayed the gist while his father and mum continued with the burial.

The whole gist came to light after my very own experience.

Happy New Year, Ishi! kiss

This is true nah. Our neighborhood Igbo food seller from Abia had a burial in the SE. As Yoruba people Wey like owanbe, we told him we were turning up, but he advised us about carnabalism in a nearby town and told us to ensure we fall in before 3pm or so. Na so we change our mind ooo. We did not turn up cos of fear.

Oga I did nysc at the orientation camp at
a place called isialangwa in abia state.
Guy believe, I was there 1996. They fucking eat people there. Ten coppers that already had their hair shaved and prepared for butchering were rescued when a lady indigene of that village that worked as a red cross officer in the camp ratted on her people. The modus was to direct In comming coppers new to the town to a wrong road where they are then captured. Coppers posted for their ppa were handed over to the rulers who had to sign an undertaking to provide the copper after service.
The security was tight when we go for early morning jugging we had armed soldiers accompany us. We were counted before and after outside camp juggling. Meanwhile the villagers will be staring at us just like tiger looking at goat.
Bros things happened those days oh and I believe they still eat people there.

Wow! Scary. But why can't they kill animals in the bush...or kill fish to eat. I don't understand why they will want to be eating human being. Don't they have value for human life? This your story is really scary. So if the Red Cross woman didn't speak up that's how they would have eaten those poor corpers. Nawa o. Nkan be.

They're actually many in d east, including some parts of Abia, Rivers, akwa ibom and cross river. I find it surprising that some ibos, efiks/calabars; Ngwa & Okrika people are notorious for this barbaric act, yet people from those place keep quiet (out of shame i guess), instead of speaking out against such barbaric act. A friend (Ibo) told me how her father was almost eaten in a village in ngwa land when he went there to visit a friend. She said her father was offered a chair to sit but his ring (jazz) warned him of danger n he was pressed to urinate suddenly, even as people were gathering gradually. A born again ngwa native warned him while urinating that a trap (chair on wood, covered with leaves, on top a pit) had been set for him n a big pot of water was already on d fire for. That was how he escaped.
A friend also narrated how his cousin married an okrika woman n after d wedding, d inlaws locked them up in d house to prevent any1 from going out, else they'd be eaten.
Another friend told me how when he was serving in calabar, on his way from Lagos, he got to cross river late n decided to stop over in a village some hrs drive from calabar to pass d night in a corper friends house n continue d journey d following day. But a good samaritan from that village sitting beside him warned him against it, that he wont see d next day if he enters d village when its dark.
When a new set of corpers arrive these areas, they're usually given stern warning b NYSC officials to always wear their nysc attires anytime theyre going out, as d villagers have been warned/pleaded with not to eat 'govt children'. These canibals eat only strangers i was told. There're reported cases of missing police men in these canibalistic villages in d east, only for their uniforms to be found later around locations where d natives had roast human flesh in their possession.

Damn!

One does not have to be sputtering madly to be deranged and psychotic. The fact that they stalk humans like predators and they lack the repulse instinct to eating another human shows that they have collectively lost their sanity, humanity and, they are a threat to everyone in Nigeria. This is because people move around and travel.

This is a collective derangement and not something limited to a few which makes it very very dangerous. Even animals who taste human blood are killed immediately, because they become deranged and start attacking any human they see. Not to talk of another human doing such.

Story I heard was that it started from starvation from the civil war where they were forced to eat enermy soldiers to survive and from there got the taste for humans. Don't know how true. But those people ate humans. Dont know if they still do though.
