Kayceenaz:

It boils down to making that industry or establishment a priority, a departure from putting all of Nigeria's eggs in one basket (a mono-economy) and spreading focus to have at least three major national streams of income.

If "Government has no business in business" like you contend, how would the nation economically survive? What then precipitated macro-economics? NNPC is a profit-yielding corporation run by the Federal government. Its remittance to our national treasury is unmatched. Such view as yours collides with present realities.

I'm with the poster you quoted, the FG has no business in such activities simply because it'a not their forte. Nations are built to survive economically because of the ingenuity, vision and enterprising skills of the citizenry which we lack in Nigeria as a culture.

This is why directly, indirectly or intentionally or unintentionally Dangote is a major monopoly in Nigeria, he's the only Nigerian with grand vision to blaze the trail while our other billionaires park their billions in foreign private bank accounts because the funds are mostly looted public funds that they can not spend openly.

Nigeria via the CBN is funding so many sectors in Nigeria to scale up and improve their operations from farming to rice mills, industries, export education and promotions and and so on.

The government's job is to create the enabling environment and financial backing wile the private sector creates vibrant non oil economy.

It is Igbo airport. That's why your SE Governors went to kneel down to Buhari and thank him.

They would have taken your daddy that day but he went out to hunt rats.
Why are u so senselessly senseless?

The little he is doing in the SE, has Buhari being appreciated for once aside being insulted?
God knows if I were Buhari, I won't spend a dime in the SE for anything because work or not, you'd never be appreciated so why bother?
And you said you're Igbo??

I believe that you too never believed nor prayed that Buhari would ever spend a dime in the SE so that you'd have more reasons to insult him, APC and Tinubu your nightmare. This is why most of you never appreciate whatever he does for the SE, you'd rather say it's a lie even when the truth is staring at most of you.

Some denied the national free feeding of kids in primary schools when the programme was first launched in Anambra state, when they discovered it was true, they wanted it scrapped from the state.

Second Niger bridge too, they denied, when pictures and videos started flooding the internet, they said it has been like that since 2015, ask them to give us pictures and videos prior to 2015 and they'd run away.

Enugu airport is another, even on this thread some are already denying that that's the airport but a highway.

Zik's mausoleum too, when it was completed after decades with promises from the military and civilian governments, it was finally delivered by Buhari but guess what, he was insulted and told to move the graveyard from Onitsha and anywhere in Igboland.

Hateful set of humans and that's why thousands migrate from the region to other parts of the country on a daily basis
And you're Igbo

You must be a local champion. It is not his money it is tax payers money so he must do those projects weather liked or hated.
