Online media site names Governor Inuwa Yahaya 2019 Governor of The Year

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has been named the 2019 Governor of the year by Authentic News Daily, an online news site.

The top Kaduna- based award winning Online News Site announced Gombe Governor winner of its fifth edition of Annual Awards for the year 2019 during weekend.

The Consulting Editor of Authentic News Daily, Jacob Onjewu Dickson said Governor Inuwa Yahaya was awarded Governor of the year as a result of unprecedented achievements within his seven months in office.

The statement congratulated the winners, while urging them to keep up the good works that earned them the recognition.

Recall that Governor Inuwa Yahaya has consistently maintain top 5 in monthly performance rating by Progressives Governors Forum, an umbrella body for APC Governors.

The award lays credence to successes recorded by the current administration led by Governor Inuwa Yahaya in areas of Water Supply, health, education, agriculture, road construction, rural development, youth empowerment and others. It should be noted that the governor is also prioritizing Workers' welfare and pensioners as he recently released N1.650bn for payment of inherited outstanding gratuity for State Retirees.
