Osasuna coach Jose Antonio Camacho feels Barcelona disrespected the club with their late arrival for their La Liga encounter.

Osasuna coach Jose Antonio Camacho has slammed Barcelona for showing the club a lack of respect following their late arrival in Pamplona for their La Liga match on Saturday evening.

A mix-up regarding travel arrangements meant that the Catalan giants were unsure as to whether the match would even take place, and eventually they travelled via bus and train to arrive late and delay the match by 45 minutes.

The Blaugrana ultimately won the match thanks to a Lionel Messi double and a Pedro strike, but the former Spanish national team coach reckons the Catalans had belittled his club with their actions.

He claimed: “I have no problem with the match being played later, but it is disrespectful, particularly to the fans. Pep Guardiola has done well to get his team ready for the game.”

On a penalty incident involving Juanfran being brought down by Pedro in the first half, he remarked: “It was a clear penalty. If we had gone ahead on the scoreboard, then the match would have been different.”
