In one of his sermon on the Mount, jesus is alleged to have said "blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth".. He never said when this is going to happen, but the way man is destroying the earth, with increased temperature causing global warming.. I guess there won't be much left.. Or is he going to re design and up grade it... To at least like London..

Noah inherited the Earth after The Flood. He was meek. Jesus knows that God, however much He wants to perish The Wicked, He is always watching over The Righteous, Meek.

The Lord JESUS CHRIST, the Word and Son of the Living GOD does not lie!

The meek, as well as all GOD's saints, shall inherit the earth - the new earth!

The holy word of GOD is truth in it's entirety... every prophecy therein shall be fulfilled.

Only God can destroy the Earth. Until The Task Master stops firing, The Meek is always enjoying The Earth now in Life and Eternity.

The meek shall inherit the earth Psalms 37:11

As you can see Jesus only reechoed God promise in the scriptures.

So your question should have been
"WHAT EXACTLY DID GOD MEAN BY UTTERING THAT STATEMENT?"

Jesus didn't come to destroy the law or the prophets, he came to fulfill all that they have said {Matthew 5:17} that's why he confirmed before his listeners that that promise still holds! Matthew 5:5
