I don't think so. Even enterpreneurs don't easily get loans how much more students without a means of income or hopes of getting employed after they graduate. You can try out all those loan apps

All right.
Thank you.

Do you mean the real student loan?. The one that funds your education and then you pay back gradually when you start working?
I doubt if anyone can set that up in Nigeria

I mean, which bank would want to take that risk when getting a job is as difficult as a fat nutter making it through a needle hole?

Even Industrial Bank doesn't work again.
As part of Restructuring, Our 36 CONSTITUTIONAL STATES should assume and establish Student loan Scheme to develop and train their Indigenes.

Nigerian banks are the most useless entities ever. They just want to take from you. If they manage to give you even 100k loan, you will never have peace of mind to enjoy the money for what you intended to use it for, because these banks will bombard you with message every day.

Gten:
Student Loan is a myth in Nigeria, the system is designed to employ graduates who have someone in authority, no bank would give you loan on such uncertainty of repayment. Most importantly, Nigerian banks are only interested in operating from their comfort zone (SMS, Stamp duty and other frivolous charges).

Is that not what Nigerians want generally- to do nothing and get everything?
No be the thing we dey pray for be that
Nigerian banks are run by Nigerians who are friends and relatives of those who are complaining here and wailing like whining babies upandan.

It only happening in America and other part of the world

Is that because the people in those countries have two heads and they forbid Nigerians from reading their books, learning their history in order to understand and replicate how their own societies function so well

No

All our banks know is to charge card maintenance fees, SMS charges, transfer charges then declare half year profits in billions!

Student loans are tricky. In the UK, they are offered for certain courses to undergraduates and you don’t pay back until you earn 16000 GBP or more. I don’t know if this has changed now but I don’t see any Nigerian bank doing this

That's done in Developed Countries. It can be done by State Governments when NIGERIA is Restructured. Harass FG to do it now, all our Oil Money and looted funds recovered will go to TRAIN ALL ALMAJIRIS AND FULANI HERDSMEN CHILDREN FROM NIGER AND CHAD REPUBLICS. And The Paris Club and France will support our FG.

How do people expect banks to give student loan when unemployment rate is very high?
Those working are mostly unpaid. So how will they recoup the investment?
Re: Does Any Bank Grant Student Loan In Nigeria? by adeoba2008(m): 7:08am On Jan 06, 2020
These banks do grant loan to students but it has to be in agreement with the school management . If your school has such arrangement in place. When I was in Babcock we have student loans to pay school fees from all the banks., But it was done in partnership with the school management .

I doubt if public schools have such.

That it isn't in place in Nigeria is not an issue. The major issue is that there isn't any hope of such in the next 50 years. That should make you start seeing yourself as a government and hustle hard.
