While a gift should always be appreciated, I recommend you do a little observation to know what the beneficiary will appreciate most. Of course there are gifts I will never use if given to me. I’m a man of class, so I have a standard to be meet. I remember when I was much younger an Aunt of mine gave me a £50 Timberland long sleeve polo shirt bought from house of Fraser in London as a Christmas gift. She left the receipt with me just in case I needed to change it due to the size or color. I went back to the shop to scoop the £50 and drop the polo, but I was told it was bought with a voucher, so getting the money back wasn’t possible. I just changed it for some other stuffs worth £50 and happily went back home. Before I give my wife a gift, I find out what she will like to get so I don’t waste my money on a stuff that might not be her choice.
