Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday, visited his homestead at Ibogun Olaogun village near Ifo, Ogun State to harvest his yam farm plantation. Pictures here captured some scene during the harvest.

Obasanjo produces yam in his farm, even at Bodija market in Ibadan they sell his variety differently as they sell abuja yam, lokoja yam or benue yam

Abuja yam is white and best for pounding yam, Obasanjo's yam is slightly yellowish or greyish but also not bad for pounded yam and eating cooked

Those yams are not that big, it's just camera getting too closer to them. By the way they are small and they can actually be havested in that place
